As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Swimming Competition
Conducted Kumta Taluk Level Swimming Competition. Around 84 Athletes took part in 13 various categories. Approx. 250 spectators witnessed the competition and made it a successful event.

VISION
Today's Eye checkup camp at our Lion's Medical Centre old Hubli Dr Abhinav Joshi along with Vadiraj Katti from MM Joshi Eye Hospital Hubli examined around 13 beneficiaries and out of which 6 beneficiaries were referred for cataract operation. RBS and BP checkup was done by Vivek Ambekar and N.Hiremath to 6 beneficiaries. WE SERVE

On 2nd July, Club President Lion Manoj Mahale chaired his first meeting with the members at our "Lions Day Care Centre", Chorao. The meeting was hosted by President Lion Manoj Mahale and family.

RELIEVING HUNGER CAMPAIGN
Lions Club of Chodan hosted Lunch for the inmates of "Holy Family Old Age Home" Chodan, on Friday 1st August, 2025. The inmates sang a birthday song to Club Secretary Lion Santosh Gaonkar who sponsored the Lunch.

Planting saplings
Planting saplings program was held on 20th July at bhadrakali junior College compound Gokarna. Fruits and medicine saplings were planted and put up pence for the planted plants. Varieties of saplings served to the student to plant in their mother'snsme. 140 saplings were served . Our goal is to plant 1000 saplings along this year.
