As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

FIRST AID TRAINING WORKSHOP WAS ORGANISED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH INDIAN RED CROSS ASSOCIATION ON 13/7/2025. RESOURCE PERSON DR. K. HEMAGIRI EXPLAINED WITH DEMONSTRATION. First Aid Training Workshop to Lion members Teachers Students and public. 126âž• participants actually participated in the program. Dr.Hemagiri K IRCA National level faculty Demonstrated different types of casualties and first aid remedies. Topics covered: 1) Importance and aim of first aid 2) assessment of casualty and CPR 3) drawing 4)FBAO 5)Dressing AND bandages 6)wounds 7) Chest and abdomen injuries 8) Heart attack 9) Strokes 10) Electric Shock 11) fire casualty 12) different types of fractures 13) Poisoned casualties. Etc...

BLOOD SUGAR AND BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENING CAMP A SIGNATURE ACTIVITY WAS ORGANISED AND INNAUGURATED AT SHUBHADA PHARMA. EVENT COORDINATOR LION GANESH HEGDE. RDC AND DIABETOLOGIST LION NITESH JAIN WAS CALLED FOR THE INNAUGURATION OF THE SIGNATURE ACTIVITY. TOTAL 135 PEOPLE WERE BENEFITED.
