As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Inauguration of Rain Water Harvesting Unit
I have inaugurated the rain water harvesting unit , constructed by LC , Sirsi at GHPS at sirsi on 19/08/2021. cost of this unit is Rs 1.5 Lakh. It is a much needed activity. so appreciated the L C members for this wonderful work.

Celebration of 79th independence day of india
79th independence day of india was celebrated at police' outpost cavelossim salcete goa.National Flag was hoisted by lady police sub inspector Ms Naik desai. Staff of police outpost were also present and took active part in celebration along with our club members

Mega Health Camp
Mega health Camp by L.C. Honnavar held at Vokkaligar Samuday Bhavan Gunavante in association with Samarpana Vedike Gunavante, Art of living Bengaluru & Sadguru Seva Abhivraddhi Trust (registerd).More than 9 doctors treated 255 patients covering 8 villages. Event Chairman Ln.Dr.V.Chandrashekhar shetty headed the team of Doctors.

8. Visit to Lions Club of Murdeshwar
Paid my mandatory visit to LC Murdeshwar on Saturday, the 23 rd of August. A 17 years old club with good service minded members.The Club conducts useful service activities on a regular basis. I had opportunity to inaugurate one wash room out of five which the club has constructed in a primary school. IPDG Manoj Manek inaugurated the Toilet block In our meeting held after the inauguration of Toilet block , I informed the members present towards membership growth , Contribution to LCIF and service activities which benefits the community needs They promised 2 MJFs and will add more members to do more services I am happy with what the club is doing.

Tree plantation
Tree plantation drive was undertaken at Fabina's property on sonsodo road near manovikas school.Nearly 250 saplings mostly medicinal and fruit bearing were planted on the open space.some plants were distributed to the people of surroundings areas.

Visit to Lions Club of Kumta
Visited my home club on Thursday, the 21 st of August 2025. LC Kumta is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year and was Chartered on 19th March 1976. A big club with 57 members and has a permanent project of Eye Hospital. As part of my mandatory visit I did draw the attention of my home club members regarding 1. Membership Growth. They were asked to be part of Mission 1.5 and add more members. They are made aware of the benefits of more members as more hands are available for more services activities . 2. LCIF contributions The club has already contributed USD 2570 . Two MJFs and 57 members contributed 10 USD each . However the members are encouraged to become MJFs in the Golden Jubilee year . 3. Service Activities PSTs and members are elaborated on conducting the International and District service goals. As the club is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this Jubilee , I insisted the club members to contribute to service activities and advised them to create a big impact on community by their community service activities and advised. I am sure my home club will continue to support LCIF and mission 1.5

ZC visit to Lions Club of Ankola Karavali
As part of mandatory visitation , I visited L C Ankola Karavali on Tuesday the 19 th of August 2025. The club has celebrated Silver Jubilee last year and consists of worthy lions who care for the community around. As part of the visit I insisted upon Membership Growth, Contributions to LCIF and conducting service activities with huge social impact. Advised the members and PSTs regarding mission 1.5 of our IP A P Singh. Requested the members to be more generous towards LCIF contributions. Members happily agreed to my appeal and said they will contribute to LCIF Informed them to do District and International services activities The club has conducted voluntary Blood Donation camp where they collected 52 bottles of of Blood. Apprised the PSTs and other members to add women members as no woman members are present in the club Satisfied with the club activities and their their commitment to social services
