Special Initiative: Weeks of service
As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

ZONE CHAIRPERSON OFFICIAL VISIT TO LEO LIONS CLUB SIRSI SAHYADRI
I had the privilege of visiting Leo Lions Club Sirsi Sahyadri, a vibrant club comprising enthusiastic youth members, including Leo Lions. The club has immense potential to undertake impactful service activities, provided proper guidance and financial assistance are extended to them. During the interaction, I emphasized the importance of service and how Lions can effectively reach out to the needs of the community by becoming proactive contributors. The club's primary focus area is conducting blood donation camps at village levels, which reflects their strong commitment to community welfare. I encouraged the members to continue their noble efforts and assured them that with dedication and proper support, they can achieve remarkable milestones in serving society.
