As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Visit to L C Calangute for their activity of Birthday celebrations of children at St Alex girls orphanage and St Josephs Boys home for cake cutting , gifts and snack distribution.

Golden Jubilee Year Installation Ceremony of the Office bearers for the year 2025-26:
Golden Jubilee Year Installation Ceremony of the Office bearers for the year 2025-26 was held on 25-06-2025 at 6 pm in Lions Vidyabhavan, Prabhat Nagar Honavar. Installation Officer was PMJF Lion N Mohan Kumar, Bengaluru, MCC(Elect) of Multiple District 317. The Chief Guest was MJF Lion Ashok Kumar K. from Bengaluru. 51 Lion members from Host Lions Club, 29 members from neighboring Lions Clubs of Kumta, Gokarn, Ankola, Sirsi, Murdeshwar and Rotary Club along with 115 invited guests attended the ceremony. The function was held for 3 hrs duration. Installation Officer, Chief Guest and outgoing PST were honored by offering shawls, garlands, peta, flower Buckeye, fruits and mementos. The function ended with a grand dinner.

visit to lions club of Mapusa Elite of my region on 8th August at Emerald lawns
It was indeed a priveledge to be part of the Clubs BOD Meeting ....i was witness to thier BOD .it was also nice to see a major part of the club active and in attendance for the meeting ...the activities are very much in line with what is required by international . Club health is excellent 5 new MJFs and Pmjfs is fantastic 5 new vibrant youth members (active ) is a welcome sign to welcome youth leadership. Congratulations to the club for being a Golden Club , Thank you once again for the opportunity..and ever ready to help L C Mapusa Elite where ever required my best wishes to the Club ... L C Aldona and my attachment and association with your club is all thanks to the pillar and stalwart Lion Lillian whom we all miss ... Thank you Region Chairperson Lion Murtaza Matheranwala

Tree Planting
On 24-07-2025, in the residential area of our club members, 8 Lions participated in Tree plantation and 6 jackfruit special saplings were planted with a promise by Lion members to look after the growth of plants. Totale penses : Rs. 2250.

VANAMAHOTSAVA CELEBRATION
The tree plantation program was organised on 01-07-2025 at Janata Vidyalaya Composite High School and Pre University College Kadatoka, Honavar Taluk. Our President, MJF Lion Jeevottam was the Chief Guest. Totally 300 members including Management, Teaching staff, Students and 6 Lion members attended the programme. 20 saplings were planted and 130 saplings were distributed to students. Expenses of Rs 2800/- was incurred. Signature Activity
