As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Region II, get-together..
REGION II GET- TOGETHER ā Region II get- together with a differenceā. was organized by RC Lion Dharmu Raut Dessai and hosted by LC Colva. President of LC Colva welcomed the gathering. RC gave brief idea about the program and the need to have a get together. RC declared the theme of region II ā ENJOY LIONISMā which was appreciated by all. VDG 2 MJF Lion Sudesh Borkar, gave PPT presentation on motivation, Growth and retention of lion members. Very interactive session, which was the need for members. Lion Sunil Kavlekar IT, updated everybody on Lions Portal and how to report under various categories and contest rules. He also briefed to make use of AI, to organize programs and prepare speeches for the functions. PMJF Lion Nitin Maganlal, spoke about his experiences in lionism and how he is enjoying lionism for the past over 40 years. PMJF Lion Sasidran Nair, gave a power point presentation on ā LIONS AS LEADRSā What a motivation. MJF Lion Dr. Chandrakant Hiremat, talked about āhow honestly lion members should work and enjoy lionism. President of LC Avedem Paroda and first lady of region II, presented mementos to all faculties. Lion Jezus DāCosta ZC II, made all arrangements in the hall. Lion Gaurish Vernekar, presented words of gratitude, beautifully in a poetic way. The āget together with a difference of region IIā was a grand success, inspite of heavy rains. Concluded with national anthem for fellowship n Dinner. Everyone enjoyed at the get together. ā Enjoy Lionismā at every program, every function and every activity we lions do. Big thanks to all present, both ZCāS and all members of Lions Club of Colva.

Participated in 79th Independence day celebrations.
I participated in 79th Independence day celebrations along with members of LC Avedem Paroda in Chandranath Education Society's School at Assolda Goa. Prizes to the winners of Various competitions were distributed by me and the other lions present.

ZCs OFFICIAL VISIT OF LIONS CLUB OF PANJIM
The Lion's Club of Panjim, organized the Official visit of the Zone Chairperson on 16th August, 2025. The function started at 4.00pm. The commemorate the same, the Club had their permanent Activity of the visit to their Adopted village in Neura, Goa. The same was celebrated in the presence of the President, MJF Lion Wilson Rodrigues, 4 DCs and other Dignitaries & Members. The ZC addressed the 13 Members present and the gathering present. The visit culminated with Distribution of Groceries, Gifts, Sarees and books for children to the families of the Adopted village. Snacks were served to all present. It was a good fellowship. It was a satisfying ZC visit.

ZCs OFFICIAL VISIT & BOD INSTALLATION OF LIONS CLUB OF ASSAGAO
Zone Chairperson's visit to the Lion's Club of Assagao. The Lion's Club of Assagao had organised an Activity wherein they commemorated the ZCs visit with the visit to the Old age home at Asagao. The BOD of Lions Club of Assagao was also installed on the same day in the presence of the Installation Officer, DC for Peace Poster, MJF Lion Agnelo Da Silva, RC Lion Murtaza Matheranwala, and other Dignitaries. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the 79th Independence day of India.

ZC VISIT TO LIONS CLUB OF CALANGUTE
on 15th August, 2025, as Zone Chairperson, made an Official Visit to the Lions Club of Calangute. The day being the 79th Independence Day, it was also commemorated with the Blood Donation camp organized by the Lions Club of Calangute. The Activity & the Zone Chairpersons visit was held in the distinguished presence of District Advisor, PDG MJF Lion Vasudev Valawalikar, LCIF Co-ordinator, PMJF Raies Ahmed, RC, Lion Murtaza Matheranwala and other Dignitaries from the Club.
