As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Tubectomy operation camp
Lions club gokak conducted a free tubectomy operation camp at Government General hospital Gokak on 20.08.2025.6 tubectomy operations were carried out by the Taluka Medical Officer and our Senior MJF Lion Dr Ashok Murgod.President Lion Shrishail Hanji,Lion Suresh Shindihatti,Lion Shankar Dodamani and many other Lion Members were present.

ZC VISIT TO THE LIONS CLUB OF MAPUSA SUBURBAN
ZC MJF LION RICHARD PINTO VISITED THE LIONS CLUB OF MAPUSA SUBURBAN ON 19TH AUGUST, 2025 AT 3.00PM. RC LION MURTAZA MATHERANWALA ALSO ATTENDED. The Club organized an Activity which was an educational Biodiversity Quiz for School students which was very well organised, the details of which are as follows: Goa Biodiversity Quiz – 19 August 2025 (-Lions Club of Mapusa Suburban) Event: Goa Biodiversity Quiz Venue: Saligao Institute, Saligao • Participating Schools: 4 schools took part • Judges: Mr. Derek Monteiro and Mr. Sudesh Mandrekar • Zone Chairperson Lion Richard Pinto (a must-attend presence for our club), attended. • RC Lion Murtuza Matheranwala was present • Highlights: • Winners and runners-up received prizes and certificates • The resource persons were felicitated by our club • Saplings were distributed to participating students under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative—a heartfelt campaign dedicating one tree to Mother Earth and honoring motherhood with a living tribute

Visit of Region Chairperson MJF Lion Rajesh V Salehittal
The Zonal Chairperson Visited to our club and praised our active participation in the meeting. He appreciated the value of the work we are doing. He spoke about the importance of recognizing good service. He encouraged us to help reach the global goal of 1.5 million Lions members. His words motivated us to start useful programs that match Lions Clubs International goals.

LIONS CLUB OF SIRSI PAID ITS 1ST HALF DUES OF RS.2,95,000/- ON 13AUG 2025. IT INCLUDES 2 LEO CLUB BILLS FOR THE WHOLE YEAR.
