Lions Club of Jamkhandi submitted a Petition (Request Letter) to the Municipal Commissioner, Tahsildar of Jamkhandi and Assistant commissioner of jamkhandi for the construction of a cowshed for Cow Protection at Jamkhandi.
Toady(Tuesday, 04/11/2025) at 10.30 am, Lions Club of Jamkhandi submitted a Petition (Request Letter) to the Municipal Commissioner, Tahsildar of Jamkhandi and Assistant commissioner of jamkhandi for the construction of a cowshed for Cow Protection at Jamkhandi. The reason for the construction of the cow shelter is, In the market the waste vegetables are thrown on the side of the road after selling vegetables. The cattle stand on the road to eat the fallen vegetables, which causes a lot of trouble to the public. The only solution to the above problems is construction of a cowshed(Goshala). By making a cowshed, cows are protected and the remaining vegetables that are spilled there are collected and put in the cows where the cowshed is located and also the town remains clean. Many people have been injured and died due to cows. This is a big problem. The reason for filing a petition to the concerned department to find a solution to this problem is that several organizations and women's organizations have come together.
