As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

As ZC, I Participated in Children’s Day Celebration Organised by Lions Club of Sirsi
On 14-11-2025, Children’s Day was joyfully celebrated at Sirsi Lions School. District Governor MJF Lion Jaimol Naik and Multiple Council Chairperson MJF Lion Mohan Kumar graced the occasion as chief guests. Members of Lions Club Sirsi and Sirsi Lions Education Society were also present. Sweets were distributed to the children, and the students presented various cultural performances, making the celebration lively and memorable. As Zone Chairperson, I also participated in the programme, marking my presence and support for this meaningful celebration dedicated to children.

Proudly Participated as ZC – Lions Club Sirsi Diabetic Awareness Walkathon
On 14-11-2025, Lions Club Sirsi organised a 5 km Diabetic Awareness Strides Walkathon for the general public, starting from Lions Circle, Sirsi and concluding at Goudalli Village. More than 150 participants, including doctors, members of the Rotary Club, club members and the general public, enthusiastically took part in the event. The walkathon was flagged off by District Governor MJF Lion Jaimol Naik and District Cabinet Secretary MJF Lion Kirti Naik. At the closing point, a prize distribution ceremony was held, where Dist. Governor and Multiple Chairperson MJF Lion Mohan Kumar presented certificates to all participants and prizes to the winners of the walkathon. Later, Rotarian Dr. Dinesh Hegde addressed the gathering and delivered an informative talk on diabetes awareness. Breakfast was arranged for all participants, and the public appreciated Lions Club Sirsi for organising such a meaningful and impactful programme. As Zone Chairperson (ZC), I also actively participated in the walkathon. District Chairperson for Diabetes Awareness was also present during the programme.

ACCOMPANYING DIST GOVERNOR FOR LEO LIONS CLUB SAHYADRI VISIT
On 13-11-2025, District Governor MJF Lion Jaimol Naik, along with District Cabinet Secretary MJF Lion Kirti Naik, officially visited the Leo Lions Sirsi Sahyadri Club. During the visit, the District Governor emphasized the importance of organising youth-centric service activities, such as blood donation camps, environmental protection initiatives, sports, and similar programmes. The PSTs of the club presented reports of their activities and also outlined their future plan of action. As Zone Chairperson, I too actively participated in the programme and contributed to the proceedings.

ATTENDED DIST GOVERNOR INTERACTION WITH LIONS CLUB SIRSI MEMBERS
District Governor 317B MJF Jaimol Naik, along with Multiple chairperson 317 MJF Mohan Kumar, had an informal interaction with the members of the Lions Club of Sirsi. Both of them talked about Mission 1.5, the involvement of more & more members in Lions service activities. As a ZC, I was also actively involved in the interaction session.

District level E-waste collection drive.
Attended district E-waste collection drive, inaugural function. the program was inagurated by district governor PMJF lion JaiAmol Naik. the collection program was held in the premises of rosary church , Navelim Goa.

Attended district twinning program, district 317 B with district 318 D at W/S hotel in Sangolda. district governor, cabinet members and around 95 members of both districts were present.

Distribution of water bottles to traffic police during the Feast of St. Francis Xavier
The Lions Club of Old Goa organized a service initiative by distributing water bottles to the Traffic Police and other police personnel on duty during the St. Francis Xavier Novenas. A total of 500 water bottles were provided to support and appreciate the efforts of the officers managing the crowd and traffic arrangements. This initiative was generously sponsored by Lion Sanjay.
