As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Blood Donation Collection Camp
The Lions club of Candolim in collaboration with the Village Panchayat of Candolim and hotel Hyatt Centric organized a Blood Donation Collection Camp a total of 49 units of blood samples were collected.

conducting peace poster competition program 2025
Conducted peace poster competition program 2025. 105 students from 7 schools attended the competition. They were given 'Together as one' task to complete within 2 hours time. Senior Ln. Dr. Pampapati Malagi inaugurated the program. Dr. Megahranjani and Raghavendra Bhaiyapur judged the participants task and declared the winners. Lion charitable trust president Ln. Dr. Chandrappa, secretary Ln. Dr. Jambunath gouda distributed the certificates

ATTENDED INTER DISTRICT CLUB TWINNING: LIONS CLUB SIRSI (DIST317B) AND LIONS CLUB BELMAN & BELMAN CENTURY(DIST 317C)MAN
LIONS CLUB SIRSI (Dist 317B) conducted the inter-district club twinning activities with the Lions Club Belman and Belman Century. Both the clubs come under Dist 317C—PSTs of three clubs, and more than 110 Lions members from three clubs participated in the twinning programme. VDG-1 of Dist 317B Lion Rajashekar Hiremath and VDG-1 of Dist 317C Rajiv Kotyan presented at the function. Past PDG of 317C Lion N M Hegde, Region Chairperson Dist 317B region 12 Lion Rajesh Salehittal, and Region chairperson Dist 317C Region 4 Lion Guruprasad Shety were also present at the function. Really, it was a wonderful function. Three clubs exchanged their service activities and future action plans. Both VDGs narrated their action plan to meet the 1.5 mission. Pins were exchanged. Lions Club Belman and Belman Century donated Rs. 25,000/- worth a drinking water purifier machine for Sirsi Lions School. Really, it shows the lions' bonding and commitment. I was really privileged to attend such a beautiful and memorable function

ATTENDED LIONS CLUB SIRSI CONDUCTED MENATL HEALTH CHECK UP CAMP
Lions Club Sirsi, conducted a free mental health check-up camp in association with Ajit Manochetan Trust, Sirsi. This was also part of their activities during Mental Health and Well-being Week. Lion Dr S.C. Kulkarni, Hubli, was a specialist doctor for the camp. At the end of the camp, all health workers who participated in the Lions Mental Health and Well-being week were honoured during the function. I had the privilege of attending both programmes.

ATTENDED LIONS CLUB SIRSI CONDUCTED MENTAL HEALTH SESSION FOR TEACHERS
During Mental Health and well Well-being Week, the Lions Club of Sirsi conducted a session on stress management for teachers. More than 70 teachers attended the session. The famous psychology expert Dr Ashay Telang was the resource person. He beautifully narrated the various types of stress in teachers and remedies to overcaome the same. I as ZC attended the full session

ATTENDED LIONS CLUB SIRSI MENTAL AND WELL BEING SERVICE WEEK
During Mental Health and Well-being Service week, the Lions Club of Sirsi conducted a Yoga Programme in association with the Arts of Living Bangalore Sirsi Branch. The Arts of Living Yoga trainers, Lion Archana Hegde and Lion Prashant Hegde, conducted the yoga sessions specially on rhythmic breathing techniques, both in the morning and evening. Both lion members and the general public took the benefit of the session
