As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Installation ceremony for year 2025-26
13th Installation ceremony of Bod of lions & Leo club of Dabolim for the lionistic year 2025-26 under the leadership of Lion Mariano silveira souza & Leo Suchitra s chari. The installing officer was DG PMJF Lion Jaiamol J.Naik and Induction officer was PDG PMJF Lion k.sasindran Nair. was installed on 05 july 2025.

Cleaning up of bundh near Nerul bridge
The Lions Club of Candolim joined the village Panchayat of Candolim to clean up the mangrove forests on the sides of the bundh located near the Nerul Bridge. More than 50 bags of waste plastic bottles, plastic cups, alcohol glass bottles, bottle caps and plastic bottles lodged in the mangrove were removed. the mangroves support diverse species of aquatic life, reptiles and birds. Cleaning the mangrove forests will help in protection of this biodiversity hot - spot.
