As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Lions Club of Jamkhandi is organising a special programme at Jain Anath Ashram, Mudhol road Jamkhandi. on 04-01-2026 at 11:30 a.m. Awerness talk on "Mental Health & Well-Being" will be delivered by Mahalaxmi Kolkar, focusing on the importance of mental wellness and emotional balance. On Sunday, 04.01.26, at 11:00 AM, BOD (Board of Directors Meeting) was organized at Jain Orphanage (Mudhol Road, Jamkhandi). The topics to be discussed in the meeting are as follows. 1) Charter Night and celebration of Swami Vivekananda's Jayanti on January 12th. 2) Breast Milk Bank - Starting a permanent project. 3) Organizing a food drive from January 4 to 11 as per the order of DG. 4) Organizing a program to attach radium to dividers. 5) Organizing a biodiversity program at PMJF Ln Prof. B. K. Konnur's college. 6) Regarding reconstruction of GLBC bus shelter letter to MLA. 7) Other topics to be discussed as per the order of the President.
