As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

Service Focus Weeks

  • MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING:  October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
  • HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
  • ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

E-Waste Collection

An E-Waste Awareness Program was conducted at SJM Basaveshwar B.Ed. College, Haveri, to educate students about the proper disposal and management of electronic waste. The program highlighted the harmful effects of e-waste on the environment and human health if not handled responsibly. Students were informed about the importance of recycling, reducing electronic waste, and adopting eco-friendly practices. The session created awareness and encouraged participants to take active responsibility in protecting the environment.

Constitution Day

Constitution Day was observed at S.J.M. PU College, Hosamatta, with Shri Basava Shanthalinga Swamiji as the Chief Guest. On this occasion, it was emphasized that Dr. B. R. Ambedkar envisioned a nation where all citizens are equal in the eyes of the Constitution. Smt. Parimala Jain spoke about the adoption of the Constitution of India and highlighted the significance of the day, which is also celebrated as National Law Day. The program aimed to create awareness among students about constitutional values, rights, duties, and the importance of equality, justice, and democracy in our country.

Free Blood Check Up Camp (RBS, HBA1C & BP)

A Free Blood Check-Up Camp for RBS, HbA1c, and Blood Pressure was successfully conducted at Mallada Hospital, Haveri. The camp benefited both in-house hospital patients and outside patients, along with members of the general public. Many individuals utilized the opportunity to undergo essential health screenings for early detection and monitoring of diabetes and blood pressure. The initiative helped create health awareness and encouraged people to take proactive steps toward better health.
