As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

Service Focus Weeks

  • MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING:  October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
  • HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
  • ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Cleanness Drive.

Cleanliness Drive on 19th January 2026. Lions Club of Canacona and Leo Club of Canacona with association of Canacona Municipal Council, a Mega cleanliness drive was successful conducted on 19th January 2026, start at 9:30 am to 11:30 am at Road side area of Palolem Beach area. The drive was actively participated by the Honorable Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Shri Ramesh Tawadkar , who appreciated the initiative and urged citizen to maintain cleanliness in public space. The Cleanliness drive also participated by CMC Chairperson and Councilors along with Municipality Office staff. 20 Lions Members and 15 Leo members take active part in this drive and spend 20000/- and 2 hrs. to successful this Cleanliness drive.
