As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

It was indeed a priveledge to be part of the Clubs BOD Meeting ....i must admit that very few Clubs really have a bod where audits or Budgets are discussed and presented ....it was also nice to see a major part of the club active and in attendance for the meeting ...the activities are very much in line with what is required by international . Club health is excellent 5 new MJFs and Pmjfs is fantastic 5 new vibrant youth members (active ) is a welcome sign to welcome youth leadership. Congratulations to the club for being a Golden Club and one of the first in the district to pay international dues. Thank you once again for the opportunity..and ever ready to help L C aldona where ever required my best wishes to the Club ... Tree Planting
On 24-07-2025, in the residential area of our club members, 8 Lions participated in Tree plantation and 6 jackfruit special saplings were planted with a promise by Lion members to look after the growth of plants. Totale penses : Rs. 2250.

VANAMAHOTSAVA CELEBRATION
The tree plantation program was organised on 01-07-2025 at Janata Vidyalaya Composite High School and Pre University College Kadatoka, Honavar Taluk. Our President, MJF Lion Jeevottam was the Chief Guest. Totally 300 members including Management, Teaching staff, Students and 6 Lion members attended the programme. 20 saplings were planted and 130 saplings were distributed to students. Expenses of Rs 2800/- was incurred. Signature Activity

Doctors' Day Celebration:
On the eve of Doctors' Day on 1st July 2025, PST and 15 Lion members visited Government Hospital, Sridevi Multispeciality Hospital, St. Ignitious Hospital, Doctors' Clinics, and their residences offered them flowers and sweets, wishing 51 doctors for their valuable services to mankind. Totally 8 hrs were spent with an expenditure of Rs 6000/-.

*Donation of 50" LED Smart TV_
On 28-07-2025 at 12 noon, a latest 50" LED Smart TV along with syllabus based contets in Kannada for various subject softwares to students of 6th and 7th Grade were given by Lions Club Honavar in association with Rotary Club of Bengaluru Lakeside and Children's Love Castles Trust to Higher Primary School Honavar. 90 students and staff with 15 Lion members participated in the Programme. Lions Secretary MJF Lion Dr A V Shanbhag talked about the importance of Smart TV for curricular studies. Total expenses: Rs 1,75,000/-

50" LED Smart TV along with the software for learning various subjects in Kannada medium for standard 6th to 10th grade donated by Lions Club Honavar, Rotary Club of Bengaluru Lake side in association with Children's Love Castles Trust was inaugurated by our Lions Club President MJF Lion Jeevottam Nayak at R.E.S Composite Junior College Haldipur on 28th July 2025 at 2.30 pm. PST, RC wth 4 Lion members of our Club, School Management President, Secretary, Principal, Teachers and students all together170 members attended the Inauguration function. Lions President MJFLion J M Nayak, Secretary MJF Lion Dr A V Shanbhag talked about the importance of Smart TV to study the subject matters of the curriculum by students. School Management President G C Naik and Secretary Rajeev Shanbhag wholeheartedly thanked Lions Club Honavar for their very much needed Smart TV donation to their School. Total expenses: Rs 1,75,000/-
