As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

GENERAL BODY MEETING OF THE CLUB WAS CONDUCTED AT 6PM OF 07.08.2025 AT DOLLORS CLUB GOKAK TO DISCUSS THE IMPORTANT DISCUSSIONS.THE CLUB HAD A GET TOGETHER OF THE FAMILY MEMBERS TOO.

President and Members of Lions Club of Panjim celebrated Independence Day by hoisting of the National Flag at Asha Mahal a short stay home for destitute women.
The President MJF Lion Wilson Rodrigues along with members of Lions Club of Panjim celebrated Independence Day with the Inmates and Management of Asha Mahal a short home stay for destitute women. A galaxy of Lion dignitaries were also present. The Past District Governor PMJF Lion Nitin Maganlal as well as the Zone Chairperson of Region 5 Zone 2, MJF Lion Richard Pinto. Four District Chairpersons of our Club were also present.

LIONS CLUB GOKAK ARRANGED A PROGRAM OF FELICITATING THE SENIOR CITIZENS OF GOKAK WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE COMMUNITY.A SENIOR CITIZEN PROF.M B KUDARI,A RETIRED PROFESSOR AND SMT SHAKUNTALA ASHOK PATIL ARETIRED TEACHER WERE FELICITATED FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION DURING THEIR SERVICE.

Today Lions Club of jamkhandi participated in celebration of independence Day in taluka kridangana jamkhandi and presented first second and third prize for NCC scout guides.

VANAMAHOTSAVA Activity
Post Flag Hoisting alongwith distribution of note books & dry fruit packets to the children of school no-16, We further proceeded for VANAMAHOTSAVA , the tree plantation drive at Machhe industrial estatae near by Positron Engineering and planted 50 saplings.

79th Independence Day Celebrations
On occasion of 79th Independence day, our Club members gathered at Masonic Hall, Camp, Belagavi to hoist the tricolour. More than 30 Lions with family attended. The President Lion Geeta Kittur hoisted the flag. Breakfast was served to all.
