As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Attended and Participated REGION II GET- TOGETHER ā Region II get- together with a differenceā. was organized by RC Lion Dharmu Raut Dessai and hosted by LC Colva.
Attended and Participated REGION II GET- TOGETHER ā Region II get- together with a differenceā. was organized by RC Lion Dharmu Raut Dessai and hosted by LC Colva. President of LC Colva welcomed the gathering. RC gave brief idea about the program and the need to have a get together. RC declared the theme of region II ā ENJOY LIONISMā which was appreciated by all. VDG 2 MJF Lion Sudesh Borkar, gave PPT presentation on motivation, Growth and retention of lion members. Very interactive session, which was the need for members. Lion Sunil Kavlekar IT, updated everybody on Lions Portal and how to report under various categories and contest rules. He also briefed to make use of AI, to organize programs and prepare speeches for the functions. PMJF Lion Nitin Maganlal, spoke about his experiences in lionism and how he is enjoying lionism for the past over 40 years. PMJF Lion Sasidran Nair, gave a power point presentation on ā LIONS AS LEADRSā What a motivation. MJF Lion Dr. Chandrakant Hiremat, talked about āhow honestly lion members should work and enjoy lionism. President of LC Avedem Paroda and first lady of region II, presented mementos to all faculties. Lion Jezus DāCosta ZC II, made all arrangements in the hall. Lion Gaurish Vernekar, presented words of gratitude, beautifully in a poetic way. The āget together with a difference of region IIā was a grand success, inspite of heavy rains. Concluded with national anthem for fellowship n Dinner. Everyone enjoyed at the get together. ā Enjoy Lionismā at every program, every function and every activity we lions do. Big thanks to all present, both ZCāS and all members of Lions Club of Colva.

Digital media motivational messages, Circulars/notifications/reminder etc, forwarded on PST/DC/Region Whats app groups on regular basis to encourage the club leaders for undertaking activity reporting and to assist clubs w.r.t. IT related issues.

Mandatory visit to Lions club of Kumta
As part of mandatory visitation, I visited L C Kumta on Thursday the 23rd of August 2025. Its present strength is 57. As part of the visit I insisted upon membership growth, contributions to LCIF, and conducting service activities with huge social impact. Advised the members and PSTs regarding mission 1.5 of our IP A P Singh. Requested the members to be more generous towards LCIF contributions. This year the club has contributed to LCIF with 2 MJF. Members happily agreed to my appeal and said they will contribute to LCIF. Inaugurated one toilet block out of constructed by the club at school premises. Informed them to do district and international service activities. Satisfied with the club activities and their commitment to social services.

Mandatory visit to Lions club of Murdeswara
As part of mandatory visitation, I visited L C Murudeshwar on Saturday the 23rd of August 2025. Its present strength is 29+ (1new member added.) As part of the visit I insisted upon membership growth, contributions to LCIF, and conducting service activities with huge social impact. Advised the members and PSTs regarding mission 1.5 of our IP A P Singh. Requested the members to be more generous towards LCIF contributions. Members happily agreed to my appeal and said they will contribute to LCIF. Inaugurated one toilet block out of constructed by the club at school premises. Informed them to do district and international service activities. Satisfied with the club activities and their commitment to social services.

As part of mandatory visitation, I visited L C Banavasi on Wednesday the 20th of August 2025. The present strength of the club is 20, as part of the visit I insisted upon membership growth, contributions to LCIF, and conducting service activities with huge social impact. Advised the members and PSTs regarding mission 1.5 of our IP A P Singh. Requested the members to be more generous towards LCIF contributions. Members happily agreed to my appeal and said they will contribute to LCIF. Informed them to do district and international service activities. Satisfied with the club activities and their commitment to social services.

As part of mandatory visitation, I visited L C Sirsi on Tuesday the 19th of August 2025. The club has added six new members, and its present strength is 126, the highest in my region. As part of the visit I insisted upon membership growth, contributions to LCIF, and conducting service activities with huge social impact. Advised the members and PSTs regarding mission 1.5 of our IP A P Singh. This year the club has contributed to LCIF with 2PMJF and 3 MJF. Requested the members to be more generous towards LCIF contributions. Members happily agreed to my appeal and said they will contribute to LCIF. Inaugurated the rainwater harvesting unit at school premises. Informed them to do district and international service activities. Satisfied with the club activities and their commitment to social services.

Attended Region-2 Get together organized by the Region Chairperson Lion Dharmu Raut Dessai, held at Lions Club of Colva Hall on 17 August 2025. Conducted live seminar for the clubs PST, ZC under the region-2 on How to correctly report activities on District Portal and Lions Portal effectively, How to select Correct Contest Rules, Importance of Contest Points, use of Artificial Intelligence tools for administrative purposes etc.
