As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Felicitation of a Teacher by district
Teachers felicitation program conducted by the District 317 B was a remarkable event for Lions club of Vasco da Gama where we got an opportunity to felicitate our adopted primary school incharge teacher where she served the education society for nearly 33 years. Mrs. Milan Navelkar is incharge and head of our adopted primary govt. School in Chicalim Vasco Goa.
