As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Vedic Maths Introductory workshop
The Vedic Math Introductory workshop was held by Lions club of Sankhali in Progress High School, Sankhali on 7th November. Resource person was District chairperson for Vedic Maths MJF Ln Sagar Sakordekar. The workshop was attended by 160 students of std 5th and 6th. The explanation of the vedic maths was very informative, impactful leaving a kind of curiosity in young minds to learn even more deep into the subject.

DIABETES CAMP
A DIABETIC SCREENING CAMP WAS CONDUCTED BY LIONS CLUB GOKAK ON 30.11.2025 AT SHRI GANESH MANDIR IN GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL PREMISES,GOKAK.ABOUT 250 PEOPLE WERE SCREENED FOR DIABETIS AND THE PATIENTS WERE ADVISED ABOUT DIET AND EXERCISE AND YOGA PRACTISES.PRESIDENT ,MJF LION DR,ASHOK MURGOD,MJF LION G S SIDDAPURMATH AND MANY LIONS PARTICIPATED.

AN AWARENESS PROGRAM FOR SENIOR CITIZENS REGARDING MENTAL WELLNESS ,EYE AND BODY DONATION WAS ARRANGED BY LIONS CLUB GOKAK ON 22.11.2025 AT SHRI GANESH MANDIR IN GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL PREMISES GOKAK.ABOUT 200 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM.

KANNADA RAJYOTSAVA 2025 BHAVAGEET AND FOLK SONG COMPITITION.
On account of Kannada Rajyotsava folk song and bhavgeetha competition was held at rangadhama Sirsi for public of Sirsi. This event was organised in Association with senior chamber International and Sahitya sanchalan Sirsi. AT VENUE RANGADHAMA SIRSI Three prizes in each competition namely bhava Geeta folk song and folk group song was distributed. ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ 2025 ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಭಾವಗೀತೆ ಜಾನಪದ ಗೀತೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಸೀನಿಯರ್ ಚೇಂಬರ್ ಇಂಟರ್ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಂಚಲನ ಶಿರಸಿ ಇವರ ಸಂಯುಕ್ತ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಹುಟ್ಟು 65 ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಗಳು ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗೆ ನೋಂದಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದು. ಭಾವಗೀತೆ ಜಾನಪದ ಗೀತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಾನಪದ ಸಮೂಹ ಗೀತೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಲ ಮೂರು ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
