As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

The Zone chairperson of Region I zone II lion Arnaldo Do Rego donated 260 note books, colors, rubber, and sharpeners to the students of Municipal High School.
The Zone chairperson of Region I zone II lion Arnaldo Do Rego donated 260 note books, colors, rubber, and sharpeners to the students of Municipal High School. He handed the book to the headmistress Mrs Maria Valentina Baretto In the presence of District Chairperson MJF lion Fiola Rego, lion Rynel Carvalho president of lions club of Chicalim bogmalo and lion Shilpa pachnare the president of lions club of Vasco da Gama. The school manager was very grateful for the gesture shown by the zone chairperson . Also present were other teachers namely Mrs Loreta Baretto and Mrs Sumedha Shirodkar.
