As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
Lions Club of Chodan in association with "Helping Hands of Chorao" organised FREE Medical Check-up camp on Sunday 14th December 2025 from 9am to 1:00pm at the Village Panchayat Hall, Chodan. RG hospital doctors and paramedical staff attended to hundred plus patients. Club President Lion Manoj Mahale, Project Chairperson MJF Lion Darryl Fernandes along with club members were present for the entire event. Tea and snacks were served to the visiting patients followed by Lunch for the RG hospital Medical Team.

CANCER AWARENESS & SCREENING
Lions Club of Chodan in association with "Helping Hands of Chorao" organised BREAST CANCER AWARENESS AND SCREENING CAMP on Sunday 14th December 2025 from 9am to 1:00pm at the Village Panchayat Hall, Chodan. 23 patients benefited . Club President Lion Manoj Mahale, Project Chairperson MJF Lion Darryl Fernandes along with club members were present for the camp. Tea and snacks were served.
