As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

C PMJF Ln.vishvambhar Kenkare paid his official visit to Lions club of Margao Ravanfond on 20th Dec at 7.30pm at the residence of Adv MJF Ln.Prashant Rajadhyax 0n this occasion a prominent personality from our locality Dr. Prakash S.Prabhu Desai was felicitated by the club at the hands of RC . RC PMJF Ln.vishvambhar Kenkare guided the club on various matters such as program of the International, District, performance of the activities and so on so forrth

FREE DENTAL CAMP-Albal School - A free Dental Medical Camp will be organized for the students of Government Kannada Medium Primary School, Alabal. LC Avedem Paroda organized cancer detection camp " Swasth Mahila Swasth Goa" for the ladies. the camp was conducted in association with the Yuvraj Sing foundation and Govt of Goa. toal 50 ladies were examined by the doctors.

Celebration of 19th Dec 2025 Goa Liberation Day @ Govt Primary School Fatorda
Lions Club of Margao proudly celebrated Goa Liberation Day on 19th December 2025 at the Government Primary School, Fatorda. The program was held in the school premises in the presence of the teaching staff and enthusiastic students. The national flag was hoisted with dignity and patriotic spirit, followed by a brief interaction with the children. As part of the club’s commitment to education and community welfare, refreshments were distributed to all students and staff. The club also donated drawing books and essential school supplies, encouraging creativity and supporting the academic needs of the young learners. The event reflected the club’s ongoing dedication to nurturing young minds and strengthening community bonds.
