As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

On the 21st of December in Ilkal, we announced the region cricket tournament date. In this time our Ilkal club president, Lion Mahabaleswar, H. A. Ilkal, the famous singer from Daravad, and other members are present .

Breast Cancer screening

A member of the Lions Club of Margao Saheli, MJF Ln. Rama Mehta, attended a Breast Cancer Screening Camp organized by the Swasth Mahila Swasth Goa Initiative on 14th December 2025. The camp aimed at promoting early detection and awareness of breast cancer, contributing to women’s health and well-being in the community.

Official Region Chairperson visit

The Lions Club of Margao hosted the official visit of the Region Chairperson on 16th December 2025 at Laxmi Empire, Margao. The meeting was attended by club members along with RC PMJF Ln. Vishvamber Kenkare, who shared valuable insights on strengthening the club and encouraged the conduct of meaningful activities that benefit both the club and the community. The visit was informative and motivating for all members present

Goa Independent day celeberation

Lions Club of Canacona and Leo Club of Canacona celebrate The Goa Independent Day on 19th December 2025 at Lions Club House, Xeller Canacona Goa at 8.30 am. Our Club Prasident Lion Pankaj Dessai gave salute to the flag. Total 20 Lions members and 10 Leo members were present for the function. The Lion Members spent 2 hours and spend Rs. 10,000/- to success this programme.
