As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Art therapy for mind relaxation
🎨 Art Therapy Training – A Creative Wellness Session . Lions Club of Vasco da Gama in association with JCI Vasco and junior JC wing successfully conducted an Art Therapy Training on 20th July 2025 at Lions Club Hall Vasco- Goa. The session was facilitated by JC Anjali Loran, Founder of Toppique Craft & Pocket Full of Quills, who guided participants through a soothing and expressive journey using the power of art. 25 participants joined , making the event a huge success filled with creativity, reflection, and calm environment.

Orientation Program for Prospective Members
Prospective new members and existing members were invited to an orientation session at the clubhouse on May 31, 2025. Special Guest speakers for the session were PDG PMJF Lion Vasudev Valawalkar and 2nd VDG MJF Lion Sudesh Borkar. A total of 7 prospective members attended the session.

Distribution of raincoats to students
Lions club of Vasco da gama today on the occasion of Guru Purnima distributed 35 raincoats to the children of our adopted government primary school Chicalim. The raincoats were sponsored by a social worker.

Club BOD installation ceremony 2025-26
On 19th of July 2025, Lions club of Vasco da Gama installed its Board of directors at hotel flora grand Vasco- Goa. 2 new members were inducted. The Installing officer was PMJF Lion K. Sasindran Nair, past district governor of district 317 B. Region chairperson MJF Lion Premanand Kerkar and Zone chairperson Lion Arnaldo Rego was also present. We had total 55 attendees including Lion members from different clubs.
