As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Monthly club meeting was held on 1st Sunday of August, on 3rd August 2025. Activities for the month of August were planned.

peival Special meeting -6 AUg25 The topics to be discussed in the meeting are as follows. 1) Regarding the program for Tree Plantation. 2) Regarding the establishment of clean drinking water units in government schools. 3) Providing sanitary napkins to girls school. 4) Regarding the celebration of Parents' Day. 5) Regarding the provision of immediate assistance in case of natural calamities. 6) Regarding the organization of pick and speak competition in schools. 7) Conducting a program on Vedic Mathematics workshop. 8) Conducting a program on international youth Day on 12.08.2025. 9) Regarding celebration of independence Day on 15.08.2025.

LC Navelim Installation Ceremony.
Attended BOD installation ceremony of LC Navelim along with members of LC Avedem Paroda on 3rd August 2025 at 7:30 pm in Z square in Margao Goa.

First Responder Training Program.
Lions club of Avedem Paroda organized First Responder Training to Students in association with EMRI Green Health Services and Directorate of Health Services ,Govt. of Goa on 2/8/2025 from 9 am to 5 pm. for the students of Damodar Higher Secondary School at Gudi Paroda Goa. The course was organized to create awareness about importance of first aid and CPR skills which is vital during emergency. Emergencies like chest pain, asthma, stroke, snake bite, seizure and road traffic accidents were discussed. The training was split into two theory and practical. Students were split into four groups and each student was given a chance to do the practical. I attended the program as Region Chairman.

*Donation of 50" LED Smart TV_
50" LED Smart TV along with the software for learning various subjects in Kannada medium for standard 6th to 10th grade donated by Lions Club Honavar, Rotary Club of Bengaluru Lake side in association with Children's Love Castles Trust was inaugurated by our Lions Club President MJF Lion Jeevottam Nayak at R.E.S Composite Junior College Haldipur on 28th July 2025 at 2.30 pm. PST, RC wth 4 Lion members of our Club, School Management President, Secretary, Principal, Teachers and students all together170 members attended the Inauguration function. Lions President MJFLion J M Nayak, Secretary MJF Lion Dr A V Shanbhag talked about the importance of Smart TV to study the subject matters of the curriculum by students. School Management President G C Naik and Secretary Rajeev Shanbhag wholeheartedly thanked Lions Club Honavar for their very much needed Smart TV donation to their School. Total expenses: Rs 1,75,000/-

Tree Planting
On 24-07-2025, in the residential area of our club members, 8 Lions participated in Tree plantation and 6 jackfruit special saplings were planted with a promise by Lion members to look after the growth of plants. Totale penses : Rs. 2250.

Free eye check up Camp
Lions Club of canacona conducted free Eye checkup camp on 04th August 2025, at 10.00 am. to 5.30 p.m. At Lions Club House Xeller Canacona Goa. Total 210 patients were benefited, 20 Club members taken efforts to success of this camp.
