As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

World Earth Day Celebration with LC Belgaum
World Earth Day was celebrated by planting along the road 31 saplings alongwith the factory workers at the Industrial Area, Belagavi

Region Activity with members of Clubs in the region:- Environment Protection
On 21st of April I organized a Region Activity where 5 clubs participated physically on planting the plants. The clubs were motivated to do other activities on environment during the International Environment Service Activity. The members enthusiastically participated in environmental protection programme and promised to do more activities.

Encorment week - Ewaste collection
ions club of Margao Ravanfond has collected substantial quantity of E-waste from their operational area to be handed over to appropriate agencies of the District under environment week program. DC Ln. Adrian Torres Dist Coordinator for Environment Week was present on the occasion.

Installation of display boards at various locations
Lions of Margao Ravanfond has distributed 5 display boards to Waste Management unit to be installed at various locations where garbage is dumped by the public. The display boards covers all the do's and dont's to be followed by the public. This will help create awareness amongst the public as regards their responsibilities towards garbage disposal. Total beneficiaries 1800.
