As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

To celebrate World Wide Service Week on ENVIRONMENT , Lions Club of Sankhali on 23rd April donated seeds of 7 types of vegetables to the Agriculturist Mrs. Shubhada Savaikar at her agricultural land in Vaghure Village, Sattari Taluka.

To celebrate World Wide Service Week on ENVIRONMENT , Lions Club of Sankhali on 22nd April donated seeds of 7 types of vegetables to the farmer Shri Shrikant Mone at his agricultural land in Vaghure Village, Sattari Taluka.

On 3rd May 2026 , the P.S.T. of the Lions Club of Hubli City had the privilege of attending the Zone Socials of Zone II, Region 8, District 317-B, organized by Zone Chairperson MJF Lion Shaila Karagudri at Dharwad.
On 3rd May 2026 , the P.S.T. of the Lions Club of Hubli City had the privilege of attending the Zone Socials of Zone II, Region 8, District 317-B, organized by Zone Chairperson MJF Lion Shaila Karagudri at Dharwad. The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Sharayu Tavargeri , Guest of Honour PDG Lion Harsh Desai , and Region Chairperson PMJF Lion Dnyanesh Natu . On this occasion, We the Lions Club of Hubli City carried out our signature activity by donating Sugar Boards to the Lions Club of Dharwad, which will further distribute them to a couple of schools in Dharwad.

On 23rd April 2026, in accordance with District Protocol to observe Environment Week , we—the P S T and members of the Lions Club of Hubli City —successfully organized an E-Waste Collection Drive .
On 23rd April 2026, in accordance with District Protocol to observe Environment Week , we—the P S T and members of the Lions Club of Hubli City —successfully organized an E-Waste Collection Drive . The drive was conducted at our Club Member Lion Guru Angadi’s office, AarGees Business Solutions, located above Aarogya Cafe, Tolankere, Hubli. The certified e-waste collection was handled by our Region Chairperson, PMJF Lion Dnyanesh Natu, through his firm Eco Chakra – The Green Cycle. We are delighted to share that the initiative received an excellent response, with a substantial amount of e-waste collected over the two-day drive.

Talk on Kitchen Gardening as a part of World Wide Week of Service - Environment
​The Lions Club of Sankhali successfully organized an insightful talk on Kitchen Gardening at Hedgewar School, Karapur, as part of the Lions International District 317 B initiatives- World Wide Week of Service - Environment. We were privileged to have Mr. Sunil Ganpule, proprietor of Samrudhi Nursery, as our Resource Person. He delivered a highly interactive and engaging session for students from the 8th and 9th standards, along with teachers and our fellow Lions members. Key Highlights of the Session : Sapling Care : Detailed guidance on the correct process and precautions to take while planting. Indoor vs. Outdoor: Understanding the fundamental differences in plant types and their environments. Watering Techniques: Essential methods used for different plant varieties. ​Expert Tips: Special gardening "hacks" to ensure a thriving home garden. It was a wonderful learning experience that empowered our youth to contribute toward a greener future.
