As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

District Governor PMJF Lion JaiAmol Naik Sir invited District’s “FIRST EVER” Special District Cabinet Meeting on Zoom Virtual Platform seeking cabinet approval for Launching the planned ‘Survarna Urja’ Solar Power to Homes, Service Project by District to be implemented during the “World Wide Week of Service from 18th April, 2026”.

Reminder For Clubs For Necrology
Dear Lion Leaders, Necrology is a solemn memorial ceremony dedicated to honoring the memory of our departed Lion Leaders through testimonials, multi-faith prayers, and reflections. As of today, the Necrology Team, District 317 B has received 12 names from 10 Lions Clubs across the district: * Lions Club of Belgaum Midtown, Belgaum * Lions Club of Arpora Nagoa Parra * Lions Club of Vasco da Gama (2 names) * Lions Club of Dandeli City * Lions Club of Maski (2 names) * Lions Club of Sindhanur * Lions Club of Haveri * Lions Club of Koppal * Lions Club of Rattihali * Lions Club of Gokak As the Convention dates are approaching, we request any remaining clubs to kindly submit the names by Sunday, 12th April 2026. Lions Club of Jamkhandi Honors 17 Past PresidentsJAMKHANDI | May 3, 2026 – In a magnificent display of gratitude and fellowship, the Lions Club of Jamkhandi hosted a historic felicitation ceremony on May 3rd, 2026, to honor the visionary leaders who have shaped the club’s legacy.Honouring the Pillars of ServiceThe event, themed around "Legacy of Service," saw the felicitation of 17 Past Presidents. These individuals were recognized for their selfless dedication, exceptional leadership, and the pivotal roles they played in executing impactful community projects over the years.Each former president was presented with a token of appreciation, marking their unique contributions to the club’s journey and the betterment of the Jamkhandi community.A Night of Success and SolidarityThe program was a resounding success, attended by a large gathering of club members, district officials, and prominent local citizens. The atmosphere was filled with nostalgia as the veterans shared inspiring stories from their respective tenures, motivating the younger generation of Lions to carry the torch forward with equal zeal.Key Highlights of the Event:Massive Turnout: The venue was packed to capacity, reflecting the deep respect the community holds for the Lions Club.Legacy Walk: A special segment dedicated to the milestones achieved under the leadership of the 17 honorees.Unity in Action: The current leadership reaffirmed their commitment to continuing the high standards of service set by their predecessors.Closing RemarksThe event concluded with a grand dinner and a vote of thanks. The current President of the Lions Club of Jamkhandi expressed immense pride in the event's success, stating, "Today we didn't just honor individuals; we honored the very spirit of Lionism that has thrived in Jamkhandi because of these 17 legends."The Lions Club of Jamkhandi remains committed to its motto, "We Serve," and looks forward to many more years of community transformation.
