As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP ON 16TH JULY,2025
THE LIONS CLUB OF CALANGUTE ORGANISED A BLOOD DONATION CAMP AT THE ST. XAVIERS COLLEGE MAPUSA IN COLLABORATION WITH THE GMC BLOOD BANK. THERE WERE OVER 70 STUDENTS OF ST. XAVIERS COLLEGE, MAPUSA, DONATED BLOOD VOLUNTARILY. THE PRESIDENT & PST OF THE CALANGUTE CLUB NEEDS TO BE APPRECIATED FOR ONE OF THE MOST HUMANITARIAN SERVICE ACTIVITIES

INSTALLATION OF BOD OF LIONS CLUB OF MAPUSA SUBURBAN
THE 24TH INSTALLATION OF THE LIONS CLUB OF MAPUSA SUBURBAN WAS HELD ON 29TH JULY, 2025 AT THE SALIGAO INSTITUTE, SALIGAO, GOA. THE INSTALLATION OFFICER WAS MJF LION SAMEER SURLARKAR (DC - LIONS ALERT). LION ALLEN FERNANDES TOOK OVER THE REINS OF THE PRESIDENTSHIP OF THE CLUB.
