As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Celebrating World Environment Day through action. Participated in the Tree Plantation Drive organized by Lions Club of Hubli Centennial, reaffirming our commitment to a greener and more sustainable future." 🌱🌍
On the occasion of World Environment Day, I had the privilege of participating in the tree plantation service activity organized by Lions Club of Hubli Centennial. Along with fellow Lions members, community leaders, and school representatives, we planted saplings to promote environmental sustainability and create awareness about the importance of preserving nature for future generations. This meaningful initiative reflects the Lions commitment to environmental service and our collective responsibility to build a greener, healthier, and more sustainable world. The activity encouraged community participation and reinforced the message that every tree planted today is an investment in a better tomorrow.

Wall of Kindness
We visited our permanent project Wall of Kindness at Railway station. The compartments were replenished with old usable items. The poor and needy pick whatever is necessary.

Bring a smile- handing over soft toys in Paediatric ward
Lions club of Vasco da Gama donated soft toys to Chicalim cottage hospital in Paediatric OPD area. Around 40 children snacks were distributed who had come for consultation in OPD. Doctors and health officer from hospital thanked Lions Club of Vasco the Gama for this service. Snacks was sponsored by Lion Jashwinder Singh
